Krokodox scripts for WinBuilder

DELL DTK 2.3 toolkit for managing DELL servers

This script embedds the DELL DTK into your LiveXP PE project. You will need to download and unzip the DTK to your harddrive and select the directory in order for the script to find the necessary files. Drivers for the DELL Broadcom and Intel LAN adapters as well as for the DRAC management card and the RAIDCFG utils will be supplied in the PE project.

NOTE: This script does not install or start the services for the DTK utilities, there is an example WINBOM.INI in the DTK where you can see how DELL ment to install / start the utilities.

Krokodox Util

This script adds and modifies the PE project according to whatever I find to be useful/interesting. As of now the CHKDSK and XCOPY gets added to the PE project and settings for the CMD commandprompt gets tweaked.

NOTE: This script is *essential* if you intend to boot your resulting .ISO image via LAN from PXE/TFTP as described in my documents!

Notepad2

This script adds Notepad2 (Notepad2 homesite) to the PE project. This is probably the best Notepad replacement there is, small, efficient and extremely capable. Highly Recommended!

NOTE: Do not add the regular Notepad script together with this script to your PE project, they will compete for which application to use when viewing .TXT, etc. files!

Remote Administrator 2.x server and client (RAdmin)

This script adds RAdmin 2.x server and client to the PE project. This is probably the best remote control software for Windows XP/Server 2003/PE there is. Highly Recommended! Unfortunately, it is no longer being sold by (Famatech), but there is a 30-day trial available for download at their site. Follow the instructions for the script in WinBuilder for how to download and incorporate RAdmin 2.x into your PE project.

NOTE: This script relies on the PENetwork script creating the RAdmin service and starting it (without PENetwork successfully starting TCP/IP it is pointless to start RAdmin). You will have to add a startup script in the PENetwork interface in order for it to install/start RAdmin server. Instructions for this is available in the RAdmin interface. :)

WMI

This script adds WMI capabilities to your PE 2005! I followed the same exact steps as in the original PE 2005 configuration script by Microsoft, so all registry settings and files that they copy/create is also copied/created by this script. I have however limited knowledge about how to verify/test the WMI functionality so I leave this up to you :) The WMI services gets installed and started once the PE image boots so it seems to be working OK.

NOTE: This script needs two .CAB files (REPO.CAB and REPOFS.CAB) in order to prepopulate the WBEM Repository, and since I do not think that it is OK for me to distribute these MS files you need to download the OPK from the Microsoft OEM Builder site. This means that you need to have a Microsoft Partner account :-/ For those fortunate enough to have the PE CD-ROM that comes with Windows Server 2003 SP1 there is no need to download the OPK since it is the same as the one on that CD.
